Poke is a famous Hawaiian dish that typically consists of diced, marinated raw fish, such as tuna or salmon, served over rice or salad. 🍚🥗
I’ve been using this recipe for long and this is my best poke bowl sauce so far!
This sauce go well with;
- Fresh sashimi salmon (recommend to cut into cube!)
- Sashimi scallop (Sliced)
1, Mix all the ingredients and microwave it for 1mins. (to just evaporate the alcohol in mirin & sake)
2, Cool it down. Marinate the sashimi salmon (or scallop) for about 2hrs. (Marinate longer will be saltier)
3, If you want to add some cubed avocado 🥑, recommend to toss into sauce just before serving.
Can be on the rice/ seaweed/ salad/ cold pasta/ cold soba/ etc (any of your diet choices)
It taste kinda “Korean x Japanese” fusion.
Smell of sesame oil and bit of spiciness from chilli bean sauce, sweet and savoury…..enough to pique your appetite!🤤👍❤️
