Momiji Oroshi is a traditional Japanese condiment that adds a burst of flavor and kick to various dishes. Most commonly serve with grilled fish, sashimi, tempura, soba, udon & shabu shabu.
Momiji = 紅葉 = Maple leaves which means colour of Red chili.Oroshi = おろし = Grating which refers to the grating technique used to prepare the condiment.
How to prepare?- Grate white daikon radish used grater.- Drain excess of juice.- Mix with "momiji oroshi"- Serve with grilled fish, sashimi, tempura, soba, udon, shabu shabu, fresh oysters, etc
